Siemens insights at Smart Buildings 2023

Siemens Smart Infrastructure is exhibiting at the Smart Buildings 2023 Show, focusing on the latest developments in its Comfort portfolio and discussing the importance of technology’s contribution to the wellbeing of a building’s occupants as part of the show’s conference programme.

Stand D11 will offer an opportunity for visitors to see a range of options from Siemens building automation and control systems which enable tailoring of solutions to meet the needs of a given project. Amongst the products on show will be Connect Box and the IAQ multi-sensor.

Connect Box is an open and easy-to-use IoT solution designed to manage small to medium-sized buildings. It offers a user-friendly approach for monitoring building performance with the potential to optimise energy efficiency by up to 30 percent.

The IAQ multi-sensor tracks seven key environmental factors in a single wall-mounted unit. It offers a key contribution to room automation with a simple insight into room conditions that helps to prioritise indoor air quality and create a healthy and productive environment.

Also on show will be the second generation of the KNX Touch Control TC5 panel and the new options added to the Desigo PXC range of building management automation stations.

On Wednesday 18 October at 15.15, Ian Ellis, Marketing & Sales Specialist Manager at Siemens, will be presenting in the Show’s ‘Energy Management Theatre’. The topics addressed in the theatre will focus on smart cities, workspaces, wellbeing, networks, connectivity, power and cabling. Under the title ‘Using your BMS to create wellbeing – Going beyond energy efficiency’, Ian will be giving delegates an insight into the relevant sensing and control elements needed to deliver occupant comfort and wellbeing in a sustainable way.
